Any of you connected to these folks? 12:42:49 PM Thursday, January 25, 2001 Fanchon Bethel Completed arrangements are being announced for Fanchon Evelyn (Mayo) Bethel, 78, of Union City, who died 5:10 p.m. Jan. 22, 2001, at Union City Manor Nursing Home. Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with Daniel Hamm officiating, assisted by the Rev. Ernest Mayo. Burial will follow in Obion County Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home 5-8 this evening. Pallbearers will be Brian Ferguson, Nathan Medlock, David Potter, Lonnie Grady, Wayne Barber and Pete Daniel. The family requests that memorials be made to Camp Bluebird at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital or the Children's Home, 5515 Old Walcott Road, Paragould, Ark., 72450. She was born Nov. 5, 1922, in Milan, daughter of the late Otha L. and Mary Sue (Smith) Mayo. She had worked for the former Salant & Salant in Union City for 30 years and was a member of Bishop Street Church of Christ. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Sarah (Bethel) and Ray Medlock of Acworth, Ga.; a son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Michelle Bethel of Martin; 12 grandchildren, Gene Bethel, Jaimie Bethel, Jeri Lee Bethel and McKenzie Bethel, all of Martin, Angela Rae Ferguson and Alison (Ferguson) Burns, both of Brentwood, Brian Ferguson of Union City, Tammy Vohs of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., Christy Vohs of Chicago, Kevin Vohs of Medina, Ginger Medlock of Marietta, Ga., and Nathan Medlock of Adairsville, Ga.; a son-in-law, Ray Ferguson of Union City; and two great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Ann Ferguson.
