Do any of our Tennessee Cousins have the surname of GREER ? We know they were in and around Giles, Obion and Gibson Counties during the 1860-1870's. We found three old family photos, 1880ish. One of them (probably all of them) was made in Lewisburg TN. The photos, believe it or not, had names documented on them. They are photos of W.E. Greer and we believe, 2 of his children. W.E. Greer was related to Jane F. Greer b. about 1848, who married Hugh Cook Brownlow. We are thinking W.E. Greer and Jane F. Greer were brother and sister. Their mother's given name may have been Martha. Each of the 3 photos had a note on the back: W.E. Greer, a young man 25 ish Will Rob Greer, an infant boy about a year old Allene Greer, an infant girl about a year old I can scan and e-mail the photos if anyone is related. Jane Greer Brownlow was my g-grandmother and I am anxious to learn about her Greer family. Thanks, Leland Carter
