SIGMUND J. - age 87, of the Glades community of Morgan County, MICELI, VERA ELIZABETH ROZELLE - age 88, of Norris, Tennessee, ========================================= GUTTERY, ELLA GRAY - age 86, of Oak Ridge, died Wednesday, December 3, 2003 at the Methodist Medical Center. Homemaker and member of Trinity United Methodist Church. Preceded in death by ; husband, Fred B. Guttery, 5-10-2000, two infant sisters and an adult sister, Gladys Trent. Survived by: sons - John Morris Guttery and wife Gale of Powell and L. C. Parker of Oak Ridge; daughters, Barbara Parker Crowder and husband Ed of Clinton and Patti Guttery Atkinson of Oak Ridge; brother, Sevier Gray and wife June of Kingsport; and sisters, Doris Hicks and husband Lloyd of Kingsport, Juanita Burchfield of Greenville, GA and Ruth Winegar of Riverdale, GA; 8 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren and Spiritual friends from Trinity UMC, Mildred Harris and Gladys Beason. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 7, 2003 at 4:00 p.m. at Weatherford Mortuary with Rev. Aldana Allen officiating. Graveside services will be held on Monday at 11:30 a.m. at the Tennessee Veterans Cemetery in Knoxville. Her grandsons will serve as Pallbearers. The family asks that any memorials be in the form of contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Memorial Program, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. at Weatherford Mortuary, Oak Ridge. (www.weatherfordmortuary.com) KLAUTSCH, VICTOR WILLIAM - age 92 of Oak Ridge, died Friday, November 14, 2003 at Continuum Courtyards of Oak Ridge. He was born February 20, 1911 in Effingham, IL, the son of the late Rev. William Klautsch and Mary Weyen Klautsch. He was also preceded in death by a son, Victor William Klautsch Jr., two brothers, Adolph Klautsch and Otto Klautsch and a sister, Erna Drews. He is survived by: his wife of 66 years, Wilma Vanselow Klautsch of Oak Ridge; daughter, Roberta Lynn Schwarz and husband Otto of Knoxville; sister, Frieda Brown of Charlotte, NC; 2 grandchildren, Gretchen Lynn Schwarz and Otto Johann Schwarz and his wife Monica: and great granddaughter, Zoe Sabine Schwarz. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, December 7, 2003 at 10:30 a.m. at Faith Lutheran Church, 1300 Oak Ridge Turnpike, Oak Ridge, TN with Rev. James Evers officiating. Graveside services will be held at a later date at Irving Park Cemetery in Chicago. The family will receive friends at the church immediately following the Memorial Service. SIGMUND J. - age 87, of the Glades community of Morgan County, passed away on December 2, 2003. Most people knew him as "Sig" and remember him for the furniture he loved to make in his shop he loved so well. He was also a Veteran of World War II. Preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Knepp. He is survived by children, Casto and wife, Phyllis Knepp, of Jamestown, TN, Gilbert and wife, Susie Knepp, of Sumter, South Carolina, Marcus Knepp of South Carolina, Lenore and husband, Jim Capley, of Nashville, TN, Carmen and husband, James Robbins, of Deer Lodge, TN and Jewel Knepp of Deer Lodge, TN; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sister, Evelyn Turner of Sevierville, TN. The family will receive friends Friday evening, December 5, 2003 at Schubert Funeral Home in Sunbright from 6:00-8:00 p.m. The funeral service will begin at 8:00 p.m. with Bro. Jim Phillips and Bro. Herb Judkins officiating. Graveside services will be Saturday morning at 11:00 a.m. in the Greenwood Church Cemetery. MICELI, VERA ELIZABETH ROZELLE - age 88, of Norris, Tennessee, was born July 31, 1915 and passed away Wednesday, December 3, 2003. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Norris. She taught chemistry at Marygrove College in Detroit, Michigan. During World War II, she served as First Lieutenant in The American Red Cross. She taught at various Catholic elementary schools and high schools in both New Haven, IN and Detroit, MI. For 17 years, she was in Girl Scouting as a Troop Leader and Neighborhood Chair. She was also very active in church activities, including Parish Life, MLF, RCIA and served as Eucharistic Minister. She held positions on the Board of Crazy Quilt Friendship Center in Newcomb, TN and served as President of The Norris Woman's Club. She also supported many other humanitarian causes through various organizations and for many individuals. Vera was an inspiration to her family and friends. She loved beautiful things - art, music, literature, nature and above all, love of people. Vera is survived by her beloved husband of 65 years, Dr. Angelo S. Miceli of Norris; children, Dr. Anthony "Bud" Miceli and wife, Cheryl, of Fowlerville, MI; Dr. Mary R. Knepper and husband, Jay, of Naperville, IL, George M. Miceli and wife, Susan, of Troy, MI, Virginia A. Miceli and husband, Brian Moore, of Norris, TN, Martha M. Forbes and husband, Steven, of Norris, TN. She is also survived by loving grandchildren, Bradley Knepper of Denver, CO, Claire Knepper of Denver, CO, Jennifer Miceli of Lansing, MI, Michael Miceli of Norris, TN, Melody and Patrick Moore of Marietta, GA, Daniel, Rachel, Rebecca and Kathryn Forbes of Norris, TN, Helen Moore of Norris, TN an great-grandchild, Eva Knepper of Denver, CO. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The City of Norris for The Norris Lion's Club Pavilion. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church. The funeral service will follow with Father Gerard Finucane officiating. The interment will follow at Norris Memorial Gardens.
