Visitation: 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday, December 22, 2003 at the Hatmaker Funeral Home. Funeral service: 8:00 p.m. Monday, December 22, 2003 at the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel. Interment: 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 23, 2003 at the Leach Cemetery, Lake City, TN. Hatmaker Funeral Home in Lake City in charge of arrangements. JACKSON, FANNIE LEA WADE - age 90, widow of the late Rev. Fynes B. Jackson, Sr., passed away Saturday, December 20, 2003 at Windwood Health and Rehab Center in Clinton. She was born May 21, 1913 to the late John M. And Cassie Butler Lea in Seattle, WA. When she was 3 years old, the Lea's moved to Anderson County, where Fannie attended school and graduated from Clinton High School. She later married the late Charles C. Wade. To that union was born a daughter and son. In 1951, she moved to Knox County and later married the Rev. Jackson and together they operated a real estate business. In the late 70's they closed the office and retired. She was a member of Powell United Methodist Church. She is survived by: one daughter, Norma Kennedy, of New Orleans; one son, John Wade, of Oliver Springs; one grandson, Jack Wade of Powell, TN; one granddaughter, Sandy Preston; three great grandchildren of New Orleans. Family will receive friends Monday, December 22 from 6-8 p.m. at Highland West Funeral Home, 9913 Sherrill Lane. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, December 23, in Highland West Chapel at 11 a0m0 with Rev. G.W. Boles officiating. Entombment will follow in the Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice. Arrangements by Highland West Memorial Park, Funerals and Cremations, 693-9547. LEWALLEN, WILLIAM BUFORD - age 83, Clinton, TN passed away Sunday at NHC Health Care Center in Knoxville. Member of Clinton First Baptist Church, veteran of US Air Force. Judge Lewallen was elected Judge of General Sessions Court in Anderson County and served until he retired. Preceded in death by: daughter, Ann Dancy Lewallen Jones. Survived by: his wife, Celden Medaris Lewallen on Clinton. Funeral services 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 23rd, Clinton First Baptist Church. Rev. Sam Dean officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery. Family will receive friends 1 to 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Clinton First Baptist Church prior to the funeral services. Arrangements by Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton. POWELL, LOUISE JACKSON - age 73, of Clinton, passed away Friday, December 19, 2003 at Ft. Sanders Parkwest Hospital. He was a member of Solway Baptist Church. Preceded in death by: wife, Alice Powell; mother, Delia Powell. Born June 15, 1930 in Anderson County. Survivors: daughters, Sharon Milen, Amy Seiber; son, Billy Powell, all of Clinton; brother, Leonard & wife Geneva Powell of Oliver Springs; grandchildren, Adam Milen, Daniel Seiber & Cody Dixon, all of Clinton. The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday, December 22, 2003 at Holley- Gamble Funeral Home with funeral services following in the Chapel with Rev. Marty Stooksbury officiating. The interment will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Batley Cemetery.
