Hi Linda, Gerry, Cathy, and Jackie, Well I checked what I had on the John BREEDLOVE family in the 1870 and 1880 census. I did not find Mary Franky BREEDLOVE among the children. :-( The children I have are as follows - ages are based on my 1880 census data transcription. 1880 TN, Morgan Co. John BREEDLOVE W M 52 b. NC Farmer Parents born: NC, NC Marthy J. BREEDLOVE W F 54 b. TN House Work Parents born: NC, TN Rufus E. BREEDLOVE W M 25 b. TN Works On Farm Hopy F. BREEDLOVE W F 23 b. TN House Work William J. BREEDLOVE W M 16 b. TN Works On Farm John M. BREEDLOVE W M 12 b. TN Works On Farm I wish I had more on James W. MOORE. Is this a direct line for you? I had wondered if he might have died during the Civil War since he leaves Mary a widow by the time she signs a deed in 1868. I never have located where she was buried. Or James for that matter. I did not find Mary in the 1880 census. But I did locate some of the children. I did not look for a Civil War Pension record for Mary - has anyone else? What a great day for putting some of our pieces together! Thanks for the discussion everyone. Georgeanne
