Hi Linda, Here's what I have found so far through LDS Family Search. I have two sources showing Chloe and Letitia's parents as Garret and Rachel Hendrix. Both show Chloe married to Martin Daniel Hall and Letitia married to Samuel Hall. The sources are Terry Morris, 871 S. Alpine Highway Alpin, Utah 84004 and Angel Michelle Graybeal, 1038 Old Hwy 57, Butler, Tn. 37640. I don't know exactly when this was submitted, but a postage stamp wouldn't hurt to try to contact them. I also found another submission showing Chloe's parents as Morgan and Elizabeth Hendrix; Morgan the son of Moses Hendrix. The first two sources do list the birthplace of Chloe and Letitia as Stoney Fork Creek, Wilkes, N. C. I can order a disc which should give the source information, but it will probably be after Christmas before I get it. I have seen the Morgan Hendix before, but can't recollect where. I'll have to dig a little deeper. I guess that throws a monkey wrench into everything, but my bet is on Garret and Rachel. I will keep looking further. I haven't been working on this line in quite a while, so I will have to get the cobwebs swept away. I'm not sure where Butler, Tennessee is, but you might even be able to try a phone directory for that one. It would be great to find someone else who is working on this line. It never hurts to try. I tried a lady on my Taylor line who was listed as a source back in the early 80's I wrote to the address and she wrote me back and sent me a picture of my grandfather and grandmother D.H. and Cora Taylor in a Melton Hill School picture. It turned out that my grandfather had taught her mother in school in Morgan County. They were living in St. Louis when I contacted them, so you never know what you may find until you check it out. All I could come up with on Darby was that he was born before 1766 in N. C. and married Elizabeth Hall about 1781 in North Carolina. There was no source information on this information. I'll let you know when I get the disc with the source information. Say, do you have any idea where Melton Hill School would have been? I'm thinking Lone Mountain, but I'm not sure.
