    3. Robin, Did any of your HOWARDS go to Missouri and Arkansas in the mid to late 1800s? I have a Mrs. Sarah HOWARD, born about 1858 in Missouri, who married Alexander BUTRAM in 1879 in Yell Co., ARK. They produced a daughter named Daisey D. BUTRAM, and perhaps others. 1880 Yell Co., Arkansas Census; Wilson Township; Written Page 34; S.D. 2; E.D. 217; Stamped Page 309-B; June 19th; Ancestry.com Image 34 of 40; Line 30; Household and Visit 230 - 250: BUTTRUM, Alexander, white, male, 32 or 22, farm laborer, ARK TN ARK; Sarah. 22, wife, keeping house, MO MO MO; Daisey D., 9/12, August, daughter, ARK ARK MO Just a long shot! But hope you have some information. I surely would like to know more about Sarah and her first husband, the Unknown HOWARD, also on Alexander "Alex" BUTRAM! (Alex appeared to be an abandoned or orphan child on the earlier Conway Co., Arkansas census enumerations of 1860 and 1870, working for other people and living in their homes. Sincerely, Anna Bertram abertram@heartoftn.net
