    3. I have lots of pictures to post to the site www.geocities.com/morgancountycemeteries , however with the upcoming holidays I havent had the time to get them resized and uploaded yet. I've got pics donated by Gerri that I will be posting, I've got pics from the Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery, and Coal Hill Baptist Church Cemetery as well as more for the Wartburg Cemetery. I will get these posted after the holidays. While it was on my mind, I wanted to share something that I thought was a very nice gesture. Today, when I stopped at the Coal Hill Cemetery I was taking pictures, waiting to find the headstone of my ggaunt and gguncle, when I came across a stone that looked to be made of cinder block, didnt really think anything of it, because I couldnt read the writing, my first thought was here's an unknown stone, then I looked around and noticed dozens of this same stone. My next reaction was, hmmm must be one family. Then as I went about taking pictures of those cinder block stones, I finally came upon one I could read, these were not just one family and what I read said it all, this was not an "unknown" grave for the inscription said " KNOWN ONLY TO GOD". For some reason this touched my heart, these people who have gone on so long ago, buried probably with a fieldstone marker, have this marker now. No longer will I look at a headstone that the writing has wore off or where only a fiel! dstone marks the final resting spot as "unknown", because they are known, not to us, but to the one who it really matters.... GOD. Thanks to all who visit the cemetery site, and especially to those who have sent in pictures to post. Happy Holidays!!
