    2. >From The Knoxville News Sentinel 15 Dec 2002 CHAPMAN, SARAH "MINA" STARK of Jacksboro, IRWIN, CHARLES EVERETTE - age 72, Clinton, MONROE, JACK RAY age 63, of Oak Ridge, ========================================= CHAPMAN, SARAH "MINA" STARK of Jacksboro, was born February 27, 1938 in Richville, Vermont and passed into Eternal Rest December 13, 2003. She was a member of the Highland Methodist Church in Colonial Heights, VA. She was preceded in death by: parents, Lawrence and Margaret Stark; first husband, Gerald E. LaPell; and daughter, Sheila B. LaPell. Mrs. Chapman is survived by: loving husband, Paul Chapman; and son, Dwayne L. LaPell both of Jacksboro; brothers, John Stark of Milton, VT and Jimmy Stark of Ohio; sister, Sherry Paquette of Brandon, VT; close family, Diane Wojewoozie and Roy LaPell of Middlebury, VT., Belvia, Kim, Chad, Ricky, and Vicky Chapman all of Jacksboro; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral 8 p.m. Monday in the Chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Phillips and Rev. Bobby Ray Wilson officiating. Interment 11 a.m. Tuesday in Indian Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Monday before funeral services. Martin Wilson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. IRWIN, CHARLES EVERETTE - age 72, Clinton, passed away Saturday at Methodist Medical Center. Retired from Martin Marietta Y-12 after 45 years of service in Research Development, worked at Clinton Courier News from 1949-1953 as a printer and typesetter, veteran of US Army Air Force having served in Japan from 1946-1948. Preceded in death by his parents, Charlie F. and Mettie Waggoner Irwin and brothers, Fernde Irwin, Floyd Irwin, Milas Irwin and Carl Irwin. Survivors: daughters, Belinda Ford and her husband, John of Knoxville, Gay Irwin of Johnson City, Tenn.; son, Chuck Irwin of Clinton; grandchildren, Sean Blevins and his wife, Maha Ayesh of Knoxville, Nathan Irwin, Bret Ford and Savannah Irwin all of Knoxville; sisters, Mary Ellen Elliott an Cleo Robbins both of Andersonville; several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends 6-7:30 p.m. Monday December 15th with memorial services following at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton in charge of arrangements. MONROE, JACK RAY age 63, of Oak Ridge, died Saturday, December 13, 2003 at the Methodist Medical Center. Long-time resident manager of Elza Gate Self Storage and member of St. John's Cathedral Episcopal Church. Preceded in death by: son, Jack Ray Monroe II. Survived by: son, Brian Monroe and wife Sarah of Lenoir City; daughter, Linda Denise Davis and husband, Jack of Oliver Springs; sister, Pam Cummings and husband Dan of Oak Ridge; special friend, LaNelle Monroe of Lenoir City; 4 Grandchildren, Matthew and Brandy Davis and Bailey and Madison Monroe; niece, Jennifer Stevens and husband Donnie of Oliver Springs; and nephew, Jason Shelton of Knoxville. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 16, 2003 at 8:00 p.m. at Weatherford Mortuary. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Lynnhurst Cemetery in Knoxville.
