Hello Linda Thanks for your reply, No Linda I don't know for sure where Jonathan was from. Mr. Harold McPheeters has been reseaching all the variations of the McPHEETERS, McPEETERS, McPETERS, McFEETERS and more name for about 25 years. He says his finding point to the Jonathan McPETERS who was the husband of Hopa Hall, as being the son of David McPeters b(1756) and his first wife. They lived in Jefferson County, Tenn. in the 1790's so this could be where he was born. There is a Jonathan McPETERS in the 1830 Robertson County, Tenn Census. He then shows up in the 1850 Morgan County, Tenn Census with wife Hopa HALL and their children. I don't have a marriage date for them either. Jesse Columbus, Georgia
