This news article appears in this weeks' Morgan County News: "Search for Family of Morgan Vet. Morgan County Mayor, Alma Jones is searching for a family member of Dean B. Johnson, who served in the Army and was killed during the Korean War. Johnson was born in Morgan County in 1930 and died Sept. 18, 1950, in South Korea. He was awarded the Purple Heart. Anyone with information is asked to contact County Mayor Alma Jones at 423-346-6288. Jones desires to present a family member of Johnson, with a certificate honoring his service to his country."
