Anna, Most of us get confused over this. Cumberland co was formed from part of Morgan Co. But the Crab Orchard Church they were talking about is in Pine Orchard, Morgan co.. Crab Orchard Church and the area around it is know as Crab Orchard Community. Or it used to be. Don't think too many folks call it that anymore. The church is about 2 or 3 miles from the City of Oakdale and only about 1 mile from the Oakdale School and just over the hill, as the crow flies, from where I live. Pine Orchard Community is may 4 or 5 miles further west. And the 'other' Crab Orchard is across the Cumberland County line, may 15 or 20 miles even further west. Hope we didn't get everyone lost!
