    3. PROUD WIFE OF TENNESSEE ARMY NATIONAL GUARD SGT. CURRENTLY ON TRAIN UP FOR DEPLOYMENT FOR KOSOVO. Hi Becky, I'm not sure which parents are right now.In the 1830 Morgan Co. census, John doesn't have a son that is 5-10,but he does have two that are 10-15.Henry Hamby has two sons that are 5-10.Jeremiah doesn't have any the right age.Reubin isn't here in Morgan Co. yet.In the 1840 census, Reubin, John and Henry all three have sons that are the right age for Ivory Sr.In 1850 Ivory is house #381, the nearest Hambys are #366 John Hamby #368 Lewis Hamby,#372 Jeremiah Hamby and #373 Riley Hamby. So by this, John makes more sense as being his father.Reubin is #528,his neighbors are #529 Herbert Hamby,#533 Levi Hamby,#534 Andrew Hamby,#538 Julius Hamby, there is also James M. Hamby at #502. I had to go through and take my census out of alphabetical order a couple of weeks ago. I couldn't tell who went with whom. Now that I have, I will have to agree with you that John is more than like that father of Ivory Sr.I wish we could find his will or something to prove his children. I would also love to prove that John is indeed the brother to Reubin, and that Henry was also their brother. This Henry married Sarah Cross (the sister to my hubby's ggg-grandfather Abraham H. Cross) Maybe we can figure this all out.LOL Cathy
