HI Becky, I was born in Scott CO (Elgin). I am the granddaughter of Mary Elzada McCart, the 2nd great-granddaughter of Adeline Elizabeth Hamby and the 3rd great-granddaughter of Hannah Peters. The other McCartt Cemetery is where my relatives are buried. Our library here in Clarksville, TN has the microfilm with copies of original death records, so I go print them out. I like to gather copies of original proof. I am only 45 minutes away from the State Archives. I met Lee Gallery on the internet and really liked her. I did not know she had written the book "A Goodly Heritage" until I saw it in the State Archves. I started emailing her copies of the original proof that she doesn't have in her book. She wanted to update her book, so I suggested she scan it with OCR and write it to a CD. That way she can constantly update it. Being the generous and kind person she is, she gave me a copy of her book on CD. This book is about the Hambys. Have you ever talked to Gloria Davis. She is my double first cousin and works more on the McCartts then I do. Does my line cross yours?
