I descend from Reubin and Elizabeth Mahala Mitchell Hamby,through there son Levi. I am looking for another Hamby,and I. F. Hamby that married Electa Cox.They had two children,Beatrice and Eva.Electa died giving birth to Eva on September 21, 1896.Eva was raised by her grandparents Martin and Sarah Cox.Beatrice died at the age of 4 on Sept 2, 1900.I don't have the slightest idea what happened to their father or even what the initials stand for. HI CATHY I also am a descendant of Hamby and Mahala Mitchell, and the person your looking for is Ivory Findley, Jr. who married Lectie Cox, Ivory Findley Jr is the son of Ivory Findley Sr and Sarah Lavender, and of course I F Sr is the son on Reuben Hamby and Mahala Mitchell Hamby. I had Eva Hamby as an only child, but obviously due to a lack of info....I have her husband as Ed Smith and one of her children as Addie Smith, I do not know at this time if she had bro or sis or was an only child, but at your request, I shall find out...I have I F Hamby Jr siblings as Thomas Earnest Hamby 1910-1982, Alfred Hamby, Cordell Hamby, Jess Hamby, John Hamby, and Julie Hamby Kittrell.
