I'm looking for the name of the railroad that passed through Lancing, Tn. in the 1920's. My grandfather, David Elmer Gunter, lived in Lancing and worked for that railroad He later moved to Louisiana and was a railroad switch maintainer here. Any help is appreciated. Thanks. Terry, Check the Scott Co, TN website under "FNB Chronicles". There is a very well done essay on "The Railroads in Scott County" by Allen Storey. For the most part, the same railroads passed through Scott and Morgan counties. ...tim west...
