From The Oak Ridger 8 Apr 2004 Larry Wayne Rose, 47, of Sunbright, Joseph John Patrick, 92, of Oak Ridge, \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ Larry Wayne Rose, 47, of Sunbright, formerly of Louisville, Ky., died Tuesday, April 6, 2004, at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge. Born Dec. 23, 1956, in Louisville, he was the son of Jimmy R. Rose of Louisville and Wanda J. Rose of Moore Park, Calif. Mr. Rose had lived in Sunbright for the past eight years. He had worked at Peebles Department Store in Oak Ridge for over eight years. He was War Chief Oosa of the Wind River and Tsalagi View Mountain Cherokee Indians. Mr. Rose was a member of the South Eastern Council of Cherokee Indians. In addition to his parents, Mr. Rose is survived by his fiancee, Charlie Rainbowolf, of Greenup, Ill.; two brothers, Denny Ray Rose of New Haven, Ky., and Timmy Lee Rose of Moore Park; and by three sisters, Sandra June Rose and Eva LeMasters, both of Louisville, and Angelia Sue Rose Montanti of Henderson, Nev. A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 10, 2004, in the chapel of Sharp Funeral Home in Oliver Springs. A Cherokee ceremony will be at 6:30 a.m. Saturday, April 24, on the Wind River Grounds in Barbourville, Ky. Sharp Funeral Home of Oliver Springs is in charge of arrangements. Joseph John Patrick, 92, of Oak Ridge, died Thursday, April 8, 2004, at Windwood Health and Rehab Center in Clinton.
