I am still looking for Jonathan McPeters parents. There were three soldiers listed in the DAR Patriot Index. David McPeters b. 1/14/1756 NC, d 3/27/1846 MO m. Susannah Loyd. He was a Pvt for NC Jonathan McPeters b. 1/14/1756 NC, d. 1846 TN m. Rachel Reed, Pvt. for NC Joseph McPeters b. 3/1761 NC d. 2/15/1846 TN. m. Nancy Cross, Pvt. for NC Do any of these names sound familiar? I know Jonathan does. If not, then I will order the applications from the DAR and see if any of the names match the ones in Morgan County. There might be a generation between Jonathan and the revolutionary war soldiers.
