HENRY LEON, age 75 of Wartburg, STANFORD, JAMES EDWARD - age 82, of Jacksboro, //////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// LEOPPER, MR. HENRY LEON, age 75 of Wartburg, passed away Saturday, January 10, 2004 at the Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge. He was preceded in death by: his wife, Faye (Lamance) Leopper; and son, Brian Leopper; parents, George and Vinalene Leopper. He is survived by: his daughter, Joan Hamby and husband, Charles of Wartburg; granddaughters, Misha Vespie and husband Terry and Jocelyn Hamby; two great granddaughters, Felicia Decker and Brandi Vespie; former grandson-in-law, Greg Decker; sister and brother-in-law, Anna Mae and William Marlow of Joyner; aunt, Maggie Leopper of Lancing. The family will receive friends Monday evening, January 12, 2004 from 6-8 p.m. at Union Baptist Church in Joyner. Funeral services will begin at 8 p.m. with Bro. David Kunsman officiating. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, 11 a.m. in Union Church Cemetery. Schubert Funeral Home in charge. Preceded in death by: parents, Lee & Anne Stanford; brothers, Elmer & Lloyd Stanford; & sister, Stella Burnette. Survivors: sister, Zora Smiddy, LaFollette; several nieces & nephews & a host of friends. Funeral service 8:00 p.m. Tuesday Cross Chapel, Rev. David Hicks officiating. Interment 11:00 a.m. Wednesday Woodlawn Cemetery with Military Honors by the Campbell Co. Honor Guard. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday before the service.
