    2. >From the Oak Ridger 30 Jan 2004 Virginia T. Bolen, 91, of Oak Ridge, Bessie Lethgo, 91, of Knoxville, Mary R. Marsili, 101, formerly of Lynch, Ky., L.E. Redmon, 79, of Wartburg, Grady L. O'Kain Jr., of the Solway community, \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ Virginia T. Bolen, 91, of Oak Ridge, died Thursday, Jan. 29, 2004, at Briarcliff Health Care Center. Born Jan. 9, 1913, in Tullahoma, she was the daughter of Micager D. and Della Ruth Hall Troxler. She moved to Oak Ridge in 1944. She was a member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church and a member of the Women's, and Bridge Club. Her family said she enjoyed playing bridge and traveling. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Terrell Bolen Sr.; a grandson, Kenny Bolen; and by five brothers and two sisters. Mrs. Bolen is survived by three sons, Terry Bolen and wife, Betty, of California, Richard Bolen and wife, Ellen, of Knoxville, and Jack Bolen and wife, Shirlene, of Oak Ridge; a sister, Ruth McDonald of Atlanta, Ga.; seven grandchildren, David Bolen and wife, Barbara, Debbie Fritzer and husband, Rip, Tammy Willmore and husband, Steve, Kimberly Abernathy, Jack Bolen and wife, Lisa, Karen Barber and husband, J.D., and Jason Bolen and wife, Crystal; and by 12 great-grandchildren. The funeral will be at 8 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 31, 2004, in the chapel of Martin Oak Ridge Funeral Home with the Rev. Vernon Sansom officiating. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 1, at Anderson Memorial Gardens on the Oliver Springs Highway in Clinton. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Bessie Lethgo, 91, of Knoxville, died Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2004, at Northhaven Healthcare Center in Knoxville. Born Oct. 31, 1912, in Concord, she was the daughter of Harvey and Bertha Goodman. She was a homemaker and a member of Ball Camp Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Robert Lethgo; a son, Robert Zane Lethgo; a daughter, Bertha Ann Lethgo Hibbert; two brothers, William H. Goodman and James F. Goodman; and by three sisters, Helen Campbell, Hazel Goodman and Grace Johnson. Mrs. Lethgo is survived by two sons, John Lethgo and wife, Kay, of Oliver Springs, and Douglas Lethgo and wife, Sue, of Knoxville; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Shirley Jean Paul, of Kodak; a daughter-in-law, Vera Lethgo, of Landcaster, Calif.; and by several nieces, nephews and friends. The funeral will be at 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 30, 2004, in the chapel of Weaver Funeral Home in Knoxville with the Rev. Ed Sunday-Winter officiating. A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 31, at Highland Memorial Cemetery. The family will meet at 10:45 a.m. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Mary R. Marsili, 101, formerly of Lynch, Ky., died Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2004, in Oak Ridge. Born May 20, 1902, in Lankashire, England, she was the daughter of Phillip and Thomassina Raso. She was a Catholic and a homemaker. Her family said she was a devoted wife to Eliseo Marsili, now deceased. Mrs. Marsili is survived by three sons, Fred Marsili of Huntsville, Ala., Lee "Babe" Marsili and wife, Josie, of Lynch, and Frank Marsili and wife, Rita, of Evanston, Ind.; her daughter, Francis Broome and husband, Bob, of Oak Ridge; and by 20 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. The funeral was to be at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 30, 2004, at the Church of the Resurrection in Lynch with the Rev. Ed Lammert officiating. Burial was to follow at Monte Vista Cemetery in Cumberland, Ky. Johnson Funeral Home in Lynch is in charge of arrangements. L.E. Redmon, 79, of Wartburg, died Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2004. He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church and a veteran of World War II. He was preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Dallie Redmon, and by a brother, Boyd. Mr. Redmon is survived by his wife, Dolores Ward Redmon; his daughter, Sylvia Norman and husband, Ronnie; three sons, Mike and wife, Kathy, Wendell and wife, Gloria, and Scott and wife, Sabbath; two sisters, Odessa Woolum and Leata Hollingsworth; two brothers, Billy Martin and Johnnie Redmon; and by nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be at 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 30, 2004, at Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburg with the Rev. David Acres officiating. A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 31, at Morgan Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday the funeral home. Grady L. O'Kain Jr., of the Solway community, died Thursday, Jan. 29, 2004, at Fort Sanders Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville.
