Greetings again, I have the individual families of Pleasant and Lucy Webb Casey, and of Allen and Rebecca Webb. I have nothing proven beyond them, nor can I say for sure how the two families are related. The Civil War letter would seem to affirm that either Allen or Rebecca are a sibling of Lucy, referring to Uncle Allen. Of course, the letter also refers to Aunt Bets and Aunt Elizabeth Sellars, making her a sibling, too. The others mentioned in the letter are children of Allen and Rebecca. All the known dates for birth, marriage, etc. of the two families would seem to place them in the same generation. I have the marriage bond (from Roane County) for John Webb and Nancy Hall). The bond was given by Martin (or Marlin) Hall. Do you know his relationship to Nancy? The Webb frustration continues (the Caseys are just as bad!).
