Hello list members! It is with deep regret that I tell you about the retirement of our Librarian at the Wartburg Library. Kathy Byrd is retiring, or has retired as of Dec. 30, 2003. She served as Librarian for the past 25 years and I for one will be sad to see her go. She is a beautiful person and had been a lot of help of many of us who have visited the Genealogy Room. I thought it might be nice for those of us who know her, and those of us who have visited the Library, to maybe send her a note of congratulations on her retirement. I know she will appreciate it.
