"TRUCKY" JR. - age 79, of Lake City, \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ BOURGETTE, MARY NELL PARROTT MORGAN - age 66 of Clinton, died Thursday, January 15, 2004 at Methodist Medical Center, Oak Ridge. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Concord where she served as financial secretary for almost 25 years before retiring in 2003 for health reasons. Preceded in death in 1991 by first husband, John C. Morgan; 5 brothers, Everett, Hugh, James, Wirt, and Elvin; 2 sisters, Marie, and Mildred. We love and will miss you, Mother, Wife, Grandmother and Friend. Survivors: husband, David Bourgette of Clinton; sons and daughters in law, Kevin and Robin Morgan, Jeffrey and Vicki Morgan, Scott Morgan all of Knoxville; step daughters, Ronda Knox of Destrehan, La., Donna Sue Letson of Clinton; grandchildren, Amanda Christa Chei Morgan, Alicia Paige Morgan, Nathan James Morgan, Joshua Allen Morgan (due May 3rd), Ashley Letson, Lauren Knox, Emily Knox; brothers, Mitchell Parrott and wife, Faye of Dayton, Ohio, Bobby Parrott and wife Mary of Knoxville; sister, Sunnie Louise Rudell of Las Vegas, Nev.; a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral service 7:00 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church, Concord with Rev. Steve Peek and Rev. Larry Boyles officiating. Pallbearers, Kevin Morgan, Jeffrey Morgan, Scott Morgan, Wayne Schmidt, Jerry Meeks, Maurice Henderson. Family and friends will meet and leave Rose Mortuary Mann Heritage Chapel at 2:45 p.m. Sunday and proceed to Greenwood Cemetery for a 3:30 p.m. interment service. Family requests memorial donations be made to the Benevolence Ministry, First Baptist Church, Concord, 11704 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN 37922. FULTZ, HELEN MARIE - 81, of Oak Ridge, died Friday, January 16, 2004 at Briarcliff Health Care Center. Retired JC Penney's and Owner/Operator of Nana's Day Care.Member of Central Baptist Church. Preceded in death by husband, William A. Fultz in 1986. Survived by: son, Richard Fultz and wife Myra of Oak Ridge, daughter, Sandra K. Nelson and husband James of Clinton; 4 grandchildren, Heather Cupp and husband Alec and Amanda Bailey and husband Kier, all of Oak Ridge and Christy Lamon and husband Mike and Shelly Swafford and husband Greg, all of Knoxville and 7 great grandchildren. Funeral services are Sunday, January 18, 2004 at 4:00pm at Weatherford Mortuary with Rev. Bob Gray officiating. Graveside services are Monday, 2:00pm at Anderson Memorial Gardens in Clinton. HOPPER, SYBOL DALPHINE - age 59, of Clinton TN won the victory over death on Friday January 16, 2004 at her home. She was born on November 11, 1944 in Anderson County she was preceded in death by her parents Fred & Marie Huckaby Bean and Niece Mary McCulley. Survivors: husband of 39 years Ronald Hopper of Clinton; sons, Ronald and Nichole Hopper of Clinton, Terry and Jeri Hopper of Oak Ridge, Jimmy and Donna Hopper of Lake City; brothers Rueben and Peggy Bean of Clinton, Jimmy and Mildred Bean of Oliver Springs, Ray and Bonnie Bean of Frost Bottom, Rev. Freddie and Melissa Bean of Clinton, Charles Bean of Clinton; sisters Helen and Doc McGill of Clinton, Sandra and Ron Jobe of Lake City, Joyce and Kenny Hutchison of Andersonville, Beatrice and Lester Miller of Lake City, Mary Rose and Pat Ford of Clinton, Anna Jo and Rev. The funeral service will be on Monday at 11:00 am at the Jarnigan Chapel Baptist Church in Clinton with the Rev. RATHER, RICHARD CLIFTON "WICK" - age 82, a resident of Oliver Springs, passed away Thursday, January 15, 2004 at his home. Mr. Rather was preceded in death by his parents, Jackson K. Rather and Elsie Hembree Rather; by a sister, Jean Freels and her husband, Ben; by a brother, Floyd Rather and by two brothers in law, Alvin Stout and Vann Hatfield. Mr. Rather was born May 19, 1921 in the Wheat Community of Roane County. He was a US Navy veteran of WW II. He was a retired teamster, retiring in 1984 after working for 30 years. He attended New Fairview Baptist Church. Survivors: wife of 56 years, June Rutherford Rather of Oliver Springs; daughter, Judy Buchanan and husband, Jack of Karns; sons, James Rather of Newport Beach, Calif., Rick Rather and wife, Debbie of Palm Bay, Fla.; grandchildren, Keith Rather and wife, Carrie of Palm Bay, Fla., Christopher Buchanan of Kingsport, Brandon Buchanan of Kingsport; brothers, Don Rather and wife, Anna of Oliver Springs, Jack Rather and wife, Geraldine of Oliver Springs; sisters, Lillie Hatfield of Baltimore, Md., Ruth Stout of Kingsport, Irene Jones and husband, Roger of Coalfield, Shirley Goodman and husband, Fred of Karns. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 17, 2004 at 8 p.m. in the chapel of Sharp Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Hensley and Rev. Scott Queener officiating. "TRUCKY" JR. - age 79, of Lake City, Tennessee passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2004 at the St. Mary's Medical Center in Knoxville. He was a member of Island Ford Baptist Church where he had served as Trustee and Superintendent of Sunday School. He was a WWII army veteran. He is retired from X-10 in Oak Ridge where he worked for 33 years. He loved to do woodworking and making placemats. He was preceded in death by daughter, Joyce Hannah; great-grandson, Rylan McCall Swanner; parents, William Walter and Nannie Douglas Walden; sister, Mildred Pumphrey.
