He was a U.S. Army Veteran and a lifelong member of the DAV, Chapter 26 and the Odd Fellows Lodge, Chapter 54. He was born on June 21, 1922. He was preceded in death by his parents: Dewey Daugherty, Sr. and Josephine Daugherty Worley, a brother Dewey Daugherty, Jr., a daughter, Brenda Greene, one Grandson and one great-grandson.
