May be related to the Morgan Co Lemons. Crossville Chronicle obits... Hugh F. Lemons Jr. March 30, 2004 Hugh Franklin "Jock" Lemons Jr. passed away March 30, 2004. Memorial services will be held Thursday, April 1, at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Evans Mortuary of Rockwood, with the Rev. Larry Treadway and Chaplain Joe Nilsen officiating. Mr. Lemons dedicated his life to God a few months ago. He was employed as a subcontractor for Fairfield Glade and had retired from Lemons' Audio Visual. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict where he earned a National Defense Service Medal. He was also a member of the Tennessee National Guard. He was a former member of the Shriners with Al Mennah Temple. He was an avid golfer and loved to play, but his family came first. He loved to watch his cattle and his dog "Easy Money," which was once on the top of his list. Survivors include his wife, Joyce Marie Lemons of Spring City; son, Mike Lemons of Spring City; daughter and son-in-law, Marsha and Mike Bowman of Cookeville; father, Hugh Franklin Lemons Sr. of Spring City; grandsons, Brian Bowman and Justin Bowman of Cookeville; stepchildren, Shane Phillips and his wife, Shannon, and Shawn Phillips and his wife, Mary, all of Cookeville; step-grandchildren, Emily Phillips, Amanda Phillips, Melanie Phillips and Nathan Phillips; special aunts, Betty Jiles and Nell Treadway, both of Rockwood; and a host of special family members, friends and golfing buddies. He was preceded in death by his mother, Willie Mae Jiles Lemons; and very special uncle, Rusty Jiles. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Cumberland County, 30 E.
