I found a William A. Jones of TN on the Guion-Miller Index and a number of 693. What do I do with it? ============================================================== I hope that you do not mind if I send a copy of this through the List so others can learn too. You can send to the NARA for a copy of his enrollment application. It is way cool to see them. They are written in the applicant's own hand. It gives sooo much information. Their birth date, place, parents names and birthdates and places. Children's names and birthdates. Spouses names, whether or not they were Cherokee and much more. Go here: http://www.archives.gov/global_pages/inquire_form.html You can order the forms to obtain a copy of the enrollment application. I ordered five of every form. They come within a couple of days. I am not sure how long it takes to get the application as my brother went directly to the Archives and got the one for our great grandmother. Do you live near an Archives. I will find out about the Indian Territory thing. Good luck! Conniesue --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free.
