JR. - age 78, of Clinton, \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ CHANIOTT, LEON J. - age 92, of LaFollette, passed away Monday, March 1, 2004, at St. Mary's of Campbell Co. Member of First Baptist Church LaFollette. Preceded in death by: husband, Fred Chaniott. Survivors: daughters & sons- in-law: Barbara & Hugh Gross, Etowah, N.C. Charlene & David Ring, Kingsport: 5 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; brothers, Stanley Jackson & "C" Jackson, both of Coalfield; sisters-in-law, Elizabeth (Betty) Broyles, Nell & Sara Chaniott, all of LaFollette; many nieces & nephews living across the country. Mrs. Chaniott was lovingly cared for by Rita Carroll. Funeral service 12 noon Thursday, Cross Chapel, Rev. Jack Baker officiating. Interment Estes Cemetery, Coalfield. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Cross Funeral Home. MONEYMAKER, JAMES CRAIG age 47 of Solway, passed away suddenly Saturday, February 28, 2004. Member of Solway Baptist Church. Employee of Boeing for 20 years. Everyone that knew him loved him. Preceded in death by grandparents, Ethel & Maude Wright and Wylie & Hilda Moneymaker. Survived by: parents, Jimmy & Faye Moneymaker; sisters & brothers-in-law, Terry & Donna Keith and Tom & Susan Blackstock; nephew, Shane Keith; niece, Kayla Blackstock; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; special friends, Johnny Alley, Danny Wade, & Debra Castleberry. The family will receive friends 5-8 pm Wednesday at Weaver's Chapel with the service to follow at 8 pm. Reverends Ray Buchanan & Harold Ogle officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 am Thursday at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens for an 11 am graveside service. Pallbearers: Johnny Alley, Trent Turpin, Tuck Rogers, Danny Wade, Terry Thomas, & Steve Castleberry. Arrangements by Weaver Funeral Home. OGLE, NORMAN W. - age 82, of Clinton, passed away Monday, March 1, 2004 at the family home after a courageous battle with cancer. He served in the business community and was a member of Second Baptist Church where he served as Treasurer & Deacon. He will be greatly missed and will be remembered for his love, kindness, & generosity. He was preceded in death by parents, Ashley & Maggie Ogle & 7 brothers. Survivors: wife, Alene Ogle; children, Terry Ogle & wife Brenda, Anne Johnson & husband Kirk, Shirley Cook & husband Sherrill, Larry Ogle & wife Jo Ann, Kathy Shoopman & husband Wimp; grandchildren, Scott Davis, Kristi Stewart, Dana Lemak & husband John Robin Watson & husband Jeff, Kelli & Amanda Shoopman; great grandchildren, Channing & Morgan Watson, Blake Stewart, Elizabeth , Emily & Trey Lemak, Andrew Shoopman. The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 PM, Wednesday, March 3, 2004 at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home with funeral services following in the chapel with Rev. George Williams & Rev. Mike Thompson officiating. The interment will be held 12:00 Noon at Shiloh Memorial Cemetery in Pigeon Forge. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton in charge of all arrangements. SMITH, HUGH L. JR. - age 78, of Clinton, passed away Tuesday, March 2, 2004 at NHC Health Care in Oak Ridge. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother & friend. He was a member of Second Baptist Church. He was of the U.S. Army having served in World War II. Preceded in death by parents, Hugh L Smith Sr. & Julie Muray Smith, wife, Dorothy Smith, brothers, Olof & John D. Smith & sisters, Ocie Wood & Leona Duncan. Born July 6, 1925 in Campbell County. Survivors: son, Dennis & wife Barbara Smith of Plainfield, Ill; daughter, Debbie & husband Ron Lane of Lebanon; brother, Conda "Dawton" of Clinton; sisters, Ruby, Almeda & Reva Smith of Clinton; 3 grandchildren; 3 great granddaughters; several nieces & nephews. The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 pm, Thursday, March 4, 2004 at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home with funeral services following in the chapel with Rev. Jim McPherson & Rev. Mike Thompson officiating. The interment will be 11:00 am, Friday at Woodhaven Memorial Garden.
