>From the Oak ridger 18 Mar 2004 Mary Deaderick Miller, 83, of CLinton, died Tuesday, March 16, 2004, at Morning Pointe Assisted Living in Clinton. She was a member of St. Marks United Methodist Church and a graduate of Tennessee Wesleyan College. She was a longtime organist at Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Oliver Springs. She retired from Union Carbide as an accounting clerk. She was preceded in death by her parents, William French and Queenie Bell Jones; her husband, Roy Miller; and by her brother, James W. Deaderick. Mrs. Miller is survived by her brother, William French Deaderick and wife, Wilma, of Jefferson City; two sisters-in-law, Betty Deaderick of Chattanooga and Katherine Miller of Clinton; three brothers-in-law, John F. Miller of Richmond, Va., W.M. Miller and wife, Mildred, and W.W. Kelly, all of Clinton; an aunt, Grace Deaderick, of Oak Ridge; and by several nieces and nephews. According to her family, they would like to thank the staff of Morning Pointe Assisted Living for their loving care given to Mrs. Miller during her stay there. The funeral will be at 8 p.m. Thursday, March 18, 2004, in the chapel of Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton with the Rev. Wayne Hedrick and the Rev. Herbert Daugherty officiating. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday, March 19, at Grandview Memorial Garden in Clinton. The family requests that any memorials be in the form of contributions to St. Marks United Methodist Church, 252 N. Main St., Clinton TN 37716.
