He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He retired from Mullins Carpet as a carpenter salesman. Preceded in death by parents, Roger & Letha King Fagan; brothers, Jim & Dudley Fagan & sister, Alberta Dimples Mullins. Born May 2, 1935 in Morgan County, Tennessee. Survivors: mother of his children,Barbara Fagan of Knoxville; daughters, Angela Poole & husband Steven of Clinton, Donna Parke & husband Chuck of Illinois; sons, Freddy Fagan of Clinton, Joe Fagan & wife Meggie of Clinton, John Fagan & wife Stephanie of Clinton; grandchildren, Katie & Murray Fagan of Clinton; Bekah, Daniel & Hannah Parke of Illinois, Gwyneth Fagan of Clinton; brother, Harold Fagan of Oak Ridge; sisters, Phyllis Hanson & husband Ken of Oak Ridge, June Disney of Kingston; stepchildren, Kathy & Lynn Bumgardner of Oliver Springs, Missy & Robbie Nolan of Clinton, Todd & Sonya Linkes of Kansas & their mother, Joyce Linkes of Clinton; step-grandchildren,Ashley & Adam Bumgardner, Chad, Ada, Isaac Nolan, Joshua & Jonah Linkes; special friend, Shane Simmons of Clinton; several nieces & nephews. The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 PM, Thursday, March 11, 2004 at Holley- Gamble Funeral Home with funeral services following in the chapel with Chaplain Clay Mulford officiating. The interment will be held 11:00 AM, at Fagan Cemetery in Coalfield. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton in charge of all arrangements. WILLIAMS, VADA LEE - age 90, of Clinton passed away Tuesday, March 9, 2004 at Methodist Medical Center. Devoted pastors wife, mother & grandmother. Preceded in death by: parents, William & Maude Anderson. Survivors: husband of 71 years, Rev. George Williams of Clinton; son, Ronnie & wife Bobbie Williams of Clinton; daughter, Betty & husband Jack Brooks of Clinton; grandson, Mark Williams & fiancée Lyndsay Hillof Clinton; sister-in-law, Christie Sowders of Clinton. Friends may call at their convenience on Wednesday at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home. The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 pm, Thursday, March 11, 2004 at Clinton Second Baptist Church with funeral services following with Rev. Henry Linkenfelter, Rev. W.C. Carlton & Rev. Ronald Guthrie & Rev. Mike Thompson officiating. The burial will be 2:00 pm, Friday at Woodhaven Memorial Garden.
