    3. Obituaries from Schubert Funeral Home AYTES, REV. ROLAND, age 93, formerly of the Frankfort Community, passed away Thursday, March 25, 2004 in the Cumberland County Medical Center. He was a resident of the Cumberland Ridge Assisted Living Center. He was a Methodist minister for more than 40 years in the Holstan Conference with 18 years in Dandridge. He was preceded in death by Laura Neskaug Aytes, His wife of more than 50 years. He is survived by his children: Elise Hook of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; Willis Aytes of Knoxville; Anna Aytes of Denver, Colorado; and Costen Aytes of Denver, Colorado. Sisters: Ruth Lee and Roberta Wampler; Nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Sunday evening, March 28th from 6-8 p.m. at Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburg. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 29, 2004 at 11 am in the Funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in the Frankfort Church Cemetery ------- BROCK, SAM CALVIN, age 44 of Sunbright, departed this life March 27, 2004 at his home. He faithfully attended and loved the High Point Freewill Baptist Church. He loved the Lord and went home to be with him forever. He was preceded in death by his father, Ion Reed Brock. He is survived by his loving and faithful wife of 22 years, Arlene Robbins Brock of Sunbright; One son, Derrick Brooks; and one daughter, Gidget Wright, both of Sunbright; One son and daughter-in-law, Darren and Tammy Barnett and two granddaughters, Jessica and Kristin Barnett, all of Lancing; His mother, Ollie Brock of Sunbright; Five brothers, Wayne, Russell, Bill, Luther and Bobby Brock, all of Sunbright; One Brother, Jerry Brock of Burville; Two sisters, Linda Underwood and Minnie Huling, both of Sunbright; He also leaves behind a host of sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews. He will also be missed by many friends and loved ones, for whom he always had a smile. The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 30, 2004 from 11-1 pm at High Point Freewill Baptist Church. Funeral Services will begin at 1 pm with Bro.Curtis Diden and Bro. Billy Durham officiating. Interment will follow in the Brock Family Cemetery. STELLA, affectionately known as Mossie, age 86 of Sunbright, passed away Saturday, March 27th, 2004 in the Life Care Center of Morgan County. She was a life long resident of Morgan County and of the Sunbright area. She was a member of the Byrd Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Amil R. Jones; son, Jackie Lee Jones; two grandsons, Gregory McArthur Jones and John Christopher Davis; parents, Wiley and Flora (Guffey) England; brothers: Estel and Roy England and sister, Ruth (England) Walker. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law: Joe and Jennie Rose (Savage) Jones of Jamestown, Byrl and Vonlee (Shannon) Jones of Sunbright, Ronnie and Charlona (Capps) Jones of Coalfield. Daughters and sons-in-law: Betty and Estel Roberts of Dayton, Ohio, Kathy and Scott Murray of Naples, Fla., Peggy and Michael Davis of Jamestown, Ohio, and Kay and Tom Olmstead of Deer Lodge, Tn. Nine grandchildren: Anthony Amil Jones, Tina Bert, Julie St. John, Susan Reagan, Wayne Jones, Allen Jones, Bill Davis, Tommy Olmstead and Matthew Olmstead. Nine great grandchildren, seven step, great, grandchildren, two sisters: Edith Jones and Iva Whitley, both of Louisville, KY., one brother, Haskel England of Oakdale, TN. She also leaves a host of nephews, nieces, and cousins across the land, many friends, and some very special caring ones at the Life Care Center of Morgan County. The family will receive friends Monday evening, March 29th from 6 to 9 p.m. at Schubert Funeral Home in Sunbright. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 30th at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Herb Judkins, Rev. Charles Webb, and Rev. Ralph Hamby officiating. Interment will follow in the Sunbright Cemetery. ------
