POWERS, MR. JERRY DOUGLAS, age 47, of Oakdale went to be with the Lord on August 30, 2007. He was preceded in death by his mother, Leona Marie Powers (just 13 days before); father: Leonard B. Powers; grandparents: Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Morrison of Oakdale; aunts: Bertie Byrd of Illinois, Dorothy Bianco of Colorado; and uncle: James J. Morrison of Kentucky. He is survived by aunts: Faye (Chuck) Pantaleo and Sue Bruce of Florida, Edith (Cecil) Douglas of Alabama, and Mary (Bill) Feldberg of Illinois; uncles: Cecil (Kaye) Morrison of Illinois, Gordon (Wy) Morrison of Oakdale, Luther (Barbara) Morrison, and Jack (Betty) Morrison of Texas; and numerous cousins and friends.
