Barnes, Rose Walker Barnes, 93, of Oakdale, passed away Thursday, September 13, 2007, at Life Care Center of Morgan County. She was preceded in death by her parents; Melton and Eva Johnson Walker; husband Floyd Barnes; two sons; Russell and Clarence Barnes. Surviving: Sons: Otto and wife Alice Barnes, of Harriman, Ernest and wife Grace Barnes of Lancing, Arnold and Judy Barnes, of Ozone, Jimmy Barnes of Wartburg. Daughters: Alyene Welch of Harriman, Trudy and Bob Cartt, Barbara and Bennie Buchanan, of Oakdale, Katherine and Bill of Devonia, and Judith and Glenn Pitcock, of Glasgow, KY. 35 grandchildren, 54 great-grandchildren and 18 great-great-grandchildren. Two sister: Bonnie Cline, of Lake Placid, Flordia; Jane McFarlene of Harriman. Memorial services will be held Saturday, September 22, 2007 p.m. at the Crab Orchard Baptist Church, with Rev. Jeff Hughes officiating. Burial: in Crab Orchard Cemetery, Oakdale, TN. Schubert Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
