>From The Oak Ridger 11 Sep 2007 Lenora C. Taylor, age 87, of Clinton, Lenora C. Taylor, age 87, of Clinton, passed away Sunday, Sept. 9, 2007, at the Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge. Mrs. Taylor was born March 11, 1920, in Dexter, Mo., to the late Arthur O. and Cordella Moore. She came to Oak Ridge in 1981 from Michigan and was a member of the Community Baptist Church in Oliver Springs. She enjoyed canning, quilting, crocheting, fellowship time with her friends at the Clinton Towers, and most of all spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester L. Taylor Sr., daughter and son-in-law Doris A. and James A. Patch, sister Iva Haynes, and brother Remmel Moore. She is survived by her two sons and their wives, Larry and Brenda Taylor of Oak Ridge, and Chester and Ann Taylor of Royal Oak, Mich., as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2007, in the chapel of Martin Oak Ridge Funeral Home with the Rev. Kenny Bean officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday night from 6 to 8 p.m. Graveside services will be held Monday, Sept. 17, 2007, in the Dexter City Cemetery in Dexter, Mo., with Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in charge of the graveside service.
