POTTER, MR. CLOVIS, age 69, of Crossville, formerly of the Potter Chapel Community, passed away Tuesday, September 25, 2007 in the Cumberland County Medical Center. He was retired from the steel mills and a retired truck driver. He was preceded in death by his father: George W. Potter; mother: Mary Ann Kindrick Potter; brothers: Lawrence, Shirley John, Stanley, and Chester Potter. He is survived by his wife, Linda Dyle Potter. Daughter: Linda Jean and husband, Larry Bell; Sons: Rocky Potter; Terry Potter and wife, Beverly; and Rick and wife, Kim, all of Crossville; sisters: Myrtle Plemons, of Sparta, N.C., Wilva Nelson and husband, John, of Lancing. and Bernice Johnston of Ft. Meade, Fla. brother: Clayton and wife, Sabre of Lancing; grandchildren: Nathaniel, Joseph, and Brittany Potter, Grace Anna Sharp and husband, Josh, Bobby and Matt Bell and Josh and Maddison Potter. The family will receive Thursday evening, September 27th, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg. Funeral services will follow at 8:00 p.m. with Bro. Luther Massengill officiating.
