ALEXANDER, PEGGY ANN - age 59 of Loudon passed away on Tuesday, October 23, 2007 at her sister's home in Knoxville, with family by her side. She had fought a courageous battle with lung cancer during this past year. Peggy was a well loved wife, mother, nana, sister, aunt, and godmother. She was a long time member of Kim Watt Baptist Church, retired from Allied Products Corporation after 19 years and belonged to the Women of the Moose's Lodge. Peggy enjoyed being with her family, reading, and spending time in Townsend . She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Frankie Courtney. She earned a Bachelors of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Central Arkansas in 1982. Mrs. Pangle was of the Catholic faith. She served as a kindergarten teacher for 16 years at Our Lady of Perpetual Help School in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and as an employee of EDS in Charlotte, North Carolina, for 12 years.
