[wecoradio.com] ------------ FOSTER, EARLY, age 76, a resident of Coalfield, died Wednesday, October 17, 2007 at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge. Early was born March 17, 1931 in New River. He has lived most of his life in Coalfied and Oliver Springs. Mr. Foster worked in manufacturing before an automobile accident in 1962 which left him disabled. He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard Guy Foster and Ola Mae, by brothers; Adam “Dude” Foster and James William Patterson, and by two sisters; Dola Foster and Verdie Foster. He is survived by two sons; Ricky Foster and wife Eve of Miamisburg, Ohio and James Larry Foster of Huber Heights, Ohio. Additionally he has four grandchildren; Heather, Christine, Charlene and Jeremy Foster, and 1 great-granddaughter. He is also survived by a brother, John Henry Foster of New River, and by two sisters; Zola Keathly of Coalfield and Barbara West of Oliver Springs. The family will receive friends Saturday, October 20, 2007 between the hours of 6:00 and 8:00 pm at Sharp Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 8:00 pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. James Foster officiating. Burial and graveside services will be held Sunday, October 21, 2007 at 2:00 pm at the Bray Cemetery in New River. Sharp Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
