    3. GOODMAN, MR. JOHN LOUIS, age 66, of Wartburg, born May 15, 1941, passed away October 10, 2007, at the Roane Medical Center. John is also survived by 14 nieces and nephews, as well as 21 great-nieces and great-nephews. He will be missed by all of us, and we will always treasure him as our special blessing from God, sent to us for a while.The family will receive friends Friday, October 12, 2007 from 6 to 8:00 P.Mat Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg. Born in Lancing, she was a daughter to the late Walter and Florence Hall. She was a member of Tates Creek Christian Church. She retired from IBM. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Clayton Hall; and one sister, Helen Brown. Mrs. Logston is survived by six sisters, Beatrice Rose of Midway, Ohio, Iris Clifton of Beaver Creek, Ohio, Juanita Orme of Huber Heights, Ohio, Jewell Southworth of Lexington, Dorothy Parkinson of Riceville and Reva Lindsey of Wartburg; one brother, Bill Hall of Versailles, Ky. Graveside services were at 12 noon Monday at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers were Chip Southworth, Shane Hall, Craig Mathis, Kevin Mathis, Lynn Brown and Gary Hall. There was no visitation. Mr. Davis is survived by his wife, Peggy Pace Davis of Wartburg; son, Keith Davis of Florida; daughter, Rhonda Davis of Wartburg; step-son, Roy Harris of Norfolk, Va.; grandchildren, Ashley Kilanski of Fork Polk, La. and Dylan, Jordan and Sara; two brothers, Dan Davis of Wartburg and Carl Davis of Coalfield; and two sisters, Genevieve Williams of Deer Lodge and Carolyn Angel of Mossy Grove. She has lived in Oliver Springs since 1952. Mae was a member of Beech Park Baptist Church, Her hobbies included flower gardening and U.T. football. She was employed at Pic Air in Oak Ridge for 19 years. Following the closing of Pic Air she worked as a C.N.A. for Covenant Home Health for five years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dewey and Hazel Hensley Adcock; son-in-law, Allen Brown; and sister, Ruth “Sis” Shoemaker, and four brothers, Frank, J.B., Bill and Hugh Don “Cocky” Adcock. Mrs. Fritts is survived by her husband of 56 years, George “Jiggs” Fritts of Oliver Springs; daughter, Karen Denise Brown of Oliver Springs; son, Doug Fritts and wife Ben of North Pole, Alaska; grandchildren, Megan Fritts of Oliver Springs, Cody Brown of Oliver Springs and Kelli Fritts of North Pole, Alaska; sisters, Janice Wormsley and husband Wayne of Harriman and Carolyn Jane Jones of Coalfield; brothers, Blaine “Troop” Adcock of Coalfield, Charles “Rooney” Adcock and wife Dottie of Coalfield, Morris “Parse” Adcock and wife Wanda of Coalfield and David Adcock and wife Nelda of Coalfield.
