I have John Franklin Shannon b. 13 May 1874; d. 12 Feb 1953 as the son of John Shannon and Clarissa Rich. He is buried at Liberty Cemetery, Morgan County, with wife Winnie Elizabeth Breedlove. It appears that he may have had another wife and/or wives....does anyone have information on his other marriages? Iresearch the Shannon bloodline and saw your query. So I looked through my records and I found a copy of a newpaper article insert that was discussing John Frank Shannon and children. In the article it stated that John Frank had married three (3) times, with two of them being sisters and then Winnie Breedlove. Then I looked through the marriage records that I have. John married: 1st Amanda Thompson -8/1878 - 4/24/1904 on 5/10/1898in Morgan County. She is buried in the Liberty Cemetery. 2nd Isadora Thompson - 10/10/1882-6/20/1913 on 10/12/1904. She is a sister to the 1st wife. She is buried in the Liberty Cemetery. 3rd Winnie Breedlove I hope this answered your question. Good Luck.
