Zecchini, age 87, of Jellico Aileen Claiborne Crowder, age 87 of Cookeville, formerly of LaFollette, passed away June 19 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville. She was born Aug. 16 in LaFollette where she spent most of her life. She was a member of LaFollette United Methodist Church, and attended Lincoln Memorial University where she earned a teaching certificate. She retired from teaching fifth grade at West LaFollette Elementary School in 1981. She was preceded in death by husband, Hugh Crowder, and her parents, Martha and Gene Claiborne.She is survived by her daughter and son in law, Martha and Dan Hall of Cookeville; brother, J.E. Claiborne of Knoxville; grandsons, Chris Russell of Cookeville, and Eric Russell of Jacksboro; great-grandchildren, Stefan Coomer, Logan Russell, and Andrea Russell. Graveside service and interment were held June 22 at the Walters Funeral Home with the Rev. Don Reynolds officiating. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Ola Mae and Aron Delk; brothers, Edd, Luke, Glenn, Carl Delk; daughter, Glenna Kay Delk. He is survived by his wife, Helen; daughters, Tammy Story and Cathy Delk; son, Joe Delk, all of Jellico; daughters, Donna Anderson, Jackie Shipp and Elizabeth Delk, Cincinnati, OH; sisters, Janice Reynolds, Joanna Browning; brothers, Larry Delk and Jerry Delk of Jellico; 11 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was a member of IBEW Local 760 in Knoxville. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. He loved to fish. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roscoe and Madge Acres Disney. He is survived by his loving wife of 10 years, Angela Disney of LaFollette; daughters, Rhonda Jobe and husband, Wayne of Lake City, Katrina Cherry and husband, Jason of Claxton, Tibby Disney of Lake City; step sons, Cody Rines and Weston Rines of Knoxville; grandchildren, Morgan Jobe, Kassie Cherry, Mason Jobe and Austin Cherry; brother, Steve Disney and wife, Kim of Lake City. He served his country in the African and European Campaigns of World War II and a veteran of the Korean Campaign. He was a member of the Jellico Masonic Lodge #527 F & AM as well as a lifetime member of the Jellico Life Saving Rescue Squad. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Sandra Dean Leach. He is survived by his wife, Sue Leach of Jellico; daughters, Nancy Rookard and husband, Andy of Jellico, Buffy Perkins and husband, Hugh of Jellico; brother, Alex Leach and wife, Frances of Primroy; grandchildren, Hunter and Joseph Perkins, Ashley Bruce, Angelina Rookard and Amanda Cusick; a host of family and friends to mourn his passing. He was a member of Ford Town Baptist Church and was a retired Electrical Bio/Medical Engineer. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Nola Musick; granddaughters, Erica and Allisa Musick; brothers, Benny, Bobby and Charles (Bud) Musick. Cross Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. LaFollette Press June 28, 2007 Henry Jr. Nelson, age 82 born Aug. 20, 1924 passed away June 24 at 11 p.m. at St. Mary's Hospital. He was a member of Long Hollow Baptist Church and former construction worker for Retenbach Construction and was a member of Union 818, but most important he belonged to Jesus. My dad, was the best dad ever and the greatest pap-pa. Things he loved to do were getting up early, going to the flea market, buying and reselling was what he was known for. He got along great with the people. The family is so thankful to have had him in their lives, all will miss him dearly. He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Nelson Jr.; mother, Sara J. Nelson; brothers, Harvey Nelson, Hutson Ford, and Paris Nelson; sisters, Ella McNeeley, Eveline Sharp, Rosie Philips, and Grace Boshears, and a very loving son: Virgil White. He is survived by a very loving wife of 58 years Beatrice Nelson who loved him very much as did he. They got along great, and the kids had a good family life because of that. He was a member over 50 years of the American Legion, and Fraternal Order of Eagles. He loved car races, NASCAR and Dirt. He was a very loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He was a very hard worker, avid mechanic that loved to work on cars. He was over the road truck driver for over 30 years. He was a Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Mae Comer Orick; brothers, Bill, Bob, and Sam Orick; sisters, Agnes Ford and Geneva McNeeley. He is survived by his wife, Peggy Orick of LaFollette; sons, Steve Orick of West Virginia, Dr. Rick Orick and wife Dr. Lijuan Yuan of Blacksburg, VA, Billy Orick and Teddy Orick both of LaFollette, Timmy and Sheila Orick of Knoxville, and Kenny and Becky Orick of Lake City; daughters, Pat of Baltimore, Cindy Ellison and husband, Kevin of MO, Tina Grimes and husband: James of Mobile, Ala, Alma White of Clinton and Melissa Webb of Jacksboro; sister, Hazel Phillips of Vasper; 22 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was the wife of Tom Rodgers and the daughter of the late Bill Stiner and Betty Gamble Stiner. She was a native of Jacksboro and member of the Trinity Episcopal Church of the Ridge. She graduated Mary Washington College in Virginia and received a Master's Degree in English from Clemson University. She was an English teacher at Strom Thurmond High School. She is survived by her husband and mother; son, Mark Rodgers of Atlanta; sister, Cindy Boshears of Clinton. Graveside services were held June 22 at the Turkey Ridge Cemetery in Edgefield, SC. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rita Marie Lay Zecchini and granddaughter, Kate Zecchini.
