BEACH, GLENA ROSE STEWART, born June 8, 1928 and raised in Wartburg, passed away on May 25, 2007. Her parents were Rev. and Mrs. Fred Stewart. She was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Arminda; brother, Herschel Stewart; sisters, Ruby Stewart Laymance and Cordia Stewart Morgan. Glena's husband, Harold, died in the year 2000. Mrs. Beach is survived by daughters, Judy Beach Gampfer (husband, David Gampfer) and their son Christopher Gampfer; daughter, Brenda Beach Billimoria (husband, Kersi Billimoria).While Glena moved to Cincinnati and later to northern Ky., she valued her roots and her loving extended family in the Wartburg area. [Roane County News] ------------ NORRIS, CHRISTINE WILLIAMS, 85, of Deer Lodge, passed away Thursday, June 14, 2007 at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge. She was a faithful member of Bethel Primitive Baptist Church in Deer Lodge and was a loving mother and grandmother. She was affectionately known as Granny by everyone who knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.B. Norris; son, Sonny Allen Norris; grandchildren, Dusty and Rusty Simpson and Colby Melhorn; brother, Omer Williams; and sisters, Edna Steelman, Birsie Jones and Glee Kennedy. Mrs. Norris is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Lawrence and Rhonda Norris; two daughters and sons-in-law, Josie and Willard Bowman and Betty and Fred Cross; eleven grandchildren, John, Suzi, Tammy, Vicki, Connie, Jamie, Larry, Jackie, Eddie, Wendell and Carol; twenty-one great-grandchildren, six great-great granchildren; a special nephew, Glenn Williams, her church family and a host of other relatives and friends. The family received friends Saturday, June 16, 2007 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Bethel Baptist Church in Deer Lodge. Funeral services followed at 8 p.m. with Bro. Vic Davis and Bro.
