She was a long time member of Gallaher Memorial Baptist Church where she served as choir director for many years. Juanita was a retired supervisor with The Health Physics Department, Oak Ridge National Laboratory. She was a member of Bearden Chapter, Order of Eastern Star for over 66 years, where she was Worthy Matron in 1955 and served as secretary of the chapter for over 43 years. Juanita served as Grand Martha in 1969, Grand Chapter, State of Tennessee, Order of Eastern Star and was a charter member of the Ladies Knights Templar where she served as president for several years. She was also Past President of the Past Matrons and Past Patrons Association of Middle East Tennessee. Juanita was also preceded in death by husband, W.B. "Ben" Anderson, brother, Grover Clifton Cain, sisters, Bobbie Sue Cain Deutscher and Charzella Cain. She is survived by her loving family: nephew, Barry C. EDWARD - age 87, joined the Church Triumphant on June 26, 2007 at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center. Judge Cole was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church for over 50 years. He was born in Knoxville, Tennessee on May 14, 1920, and attended Knoxville High School and graduated from Central High School in 1938. He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II and saw action in five major campaigns in the Pacific. Judge Cole graduated first in his class at the University of Tennessee College of Law in 1948 and was recalled to active military duty in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General Corps during the Korean War as well as serving in the Pentagon. He retired at the rank of Major in the United States Army Reserve. Judge Cole was admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States in 1953 and he resumed his private practice of law in Knoxville, TN later that year. He was appointed Judge, Knox County Circuit Court, Division II in 1961 and was elected without opposition to serve as Knox County Circuit Court Judge in four General Elections spanning three decades. He retired as Judge, Knox County Circuit Court in January 1987 after serving over twenty-five years in office. Judge Cole was the President of the Tennessee Judicial Conference from 1971 to 1972 and served in the formation of the International Academy of Trial Judges and as seventh President of the International Academy of Trial Judges. He was a member of the Tennessee Society, Sons of the Revolution and the East Tennessee Historical Society First Families of Tennessee. Judge Cole was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and jurist. He was preceded in death by his high school sweetheart, best friend and beloved wife of 52 years, Mary Jean Bell Cole in 1995. In the latter stages of this career, he began a successful business building homes and apartment complexes...which he continued after his retirement from the telephone company. Johnnie never met a stranger, had a classic sense of humor, and loved to travel. He was a longtime member of Central Baptist Church in Alcoa. As a youth, Johnnie often biked from Alcoa to Gatlinburg with weights on his bicycle. He was beloved by his family and many friends. He will be missed.
