HUMPHREY, RICHMOND RONDELL 'RICHIE' age 57, a wonderful husband, father, and friend, a resident of the Coalhill Community of Morgan County, died unexpectedly at his home Wednesday. He went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, his parents Jordon and Sibyl Humphrey, a brother Benny Humphrey and a grandson, Isaac Corbin. Richie was born and raised in the Coalhill Community. He was a member of the Coalhill Baptist Church for over 45 years, song leader for 20 years, and served as a deacon for the last 5 years. He was a 1967 graduate of Coalfield High School. He has always been a Coalfield High School football fan. He also enjoyed farming, and drag racing. He was known to some as the “Coke Man”.He is survived by and will be sadly missed by his wife of 27 years, Ginger Duncan Humphrey, daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly and Chuck Corbin, grandson Caleb Corbin, and a daughter, Jordan Humphrey all of Coalhill. Future son-in-law and son, Kole and Avery Pritchett of Grimsley, a brother Donnie F. Humphrey of Harriman, a sister-in-law, Deborah Humphrey of Johnson City, several cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family members. The family will receive friends Friday, August 17, 2007 between the hours of 6:00 and 8:00 pm at Sharp Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 18, 2007 at 11:00 am at Coalhill Baptist Church. Burial and graveside services will follow at the Ritter Cemetery.
