POWERS, MRS. LEONA MARIE MORRISON, age 79, of Harriman, TN formerly of Oakdale went to be with her Lord and Savior August 17, 2007 at Roane Medical Center , Harriman, TN. She loved cooking, sewing and helping others. She was of the Baptist faith and was a retired textile worker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Powers, Parents, James Delmar and Myrtle Kirkland Morrison. Brother, James Jr., sisters Bertie Morrison and Dorthy Bianco. She is survived by her son, Jerry Douglas Powers of Oakdale, A very faithful and special friend, Stewart Butler of Sparta, TN, Sisters, Sue Bruce, Faye Pantaleo, both of Fl., Edith Douglas of Ala., Mary Lee Feldberg of Ill., special buddies, Cecil Douglas and Chuck Pantaleo, Brothers, Gordon Morrison of Oakdale, TN, Cecil Morrison of Ill., Luther and Jack Morrison of Texas, Three very special and loving friends, Mattie Lewis, Evelyn Thomas and Margie Butler, Also a host of other family and friends. She was a member of Slick Rock Baptist Church in Brimstone, TN. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Robbins, Parents, Virgil and Linda Shannon, Sisters, Vercie Peeno and Virgie Norris, Brother, Lonnel Shannon. She is survived by her children; Marilyn Robbins , James Robbins and wife Carmen, Don Robbins and wife Charlene all of Deer Lodge, TN. 4 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, Sisters and brothers, Veness Diden, Vonalee Jones, Virdie Seabolt, Velva Turner of Murfreesboro, TN, Vinadean Griffith of Robbins, TN, Phil Shannon , Leamon Shannon all of Sunbright, Lloyd Shannon of Lancing, Lonnie Shannon of Owinsville, KY, 43 nieces and nephews, also her brother-in-law, R.L. and Betty Robbins of Robbins, TN.
