MASSENGILL, JIMMIE ROBERT, 73, of Lawrenceburg,(KY) died Wed., Aug 8, 2007 at his residence. He was the son of the late Tom and Nellie Martin Massengill. He was born April 16, 1934 in Morgan County, TN. He was a self-employed Grocer, member of the Church of God, an Army veteran, and enjoyed nature. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Fox Massengill of Lawrenceburg; two sons, Rob Massengill, Anthony Massengill and his wife Stacy, all of Lawrenceburg; two granddaughters, Latisha Massengill and Tiffany Massengill, both of Lawrenceburg; a grandson, Andre Massengill of Lawrenceburg; three sisters, Deene Daughtery, Toby Jean McDaniel, Judy Sloane and her husband Stewart, all of TN; and a brother, Fred Massengill of OH. He was preceded in death by a sister, Ada Greene; and four brothers, Leonard, Irin, Frank and Billy Massengill. Private graveside services will be 11 am, Sat., Aug. 11, 2007 at the Massengill Farm Cemetery in Anderson County with Rev. Ott Rose and Rev. Stewart Sloane officiating.
