    3. McCLAIN, MARJORIE OVOLENE, 88, of Cookeville, died Monday, Dec. 17, 2007, at her home. Born Sept. 8, 1919, in Coalfield, she was the daughter of John Larkin and Amanda Thorton Fink, both of whom preceded her in death. She was a retired Cookeville Regional Medical Center dietitian with more than 25 years of service. She was a member of Harriman First Baptist Church and had attended Cookeville First Baptist Church. She enjoyed ministering to others by providing meals for those in need. She was generous and was always looking for someone to help. She will be missed by many. In addition to parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Dickey; sisters, Grace Breedlove and Pearl Coker; brothers, Robert Fink, Eugene Fink and H.R. Fink; a grandchild; and a great-grandchild. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Vera and James Baxter Hunter of Cookeville; sister, Marie Morton of Coalfield; grandchildren and spouses, John and April Phillips, Tommy and Darlene Hunter and Renee Hensley, all of Cookeville, Mike and Faye Hunter of Smithville and Susie Maddle of Monterey; 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter. Funeral service was at 9 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 19, in Hooper Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home Cookeville Chapter with the Rev. Chris McMichael and the Rev. Steve Tiebout officiating. Graveside service and burial were at 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 20, at Harriman City Cemetery. [Roane County News] ------------
