JOHNSON, MR. JAMES (TONY) - of Oakdale, died suddenly on a hunting trip, Tuesday, December 4, 2007. He was retired after 31 years as a rural carrier in Oakdale. He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Johnson; and brother, Roy Johnson. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Johnson; sons and daughters-in-law, Jeffrey and Cheryl Johnson and Jay and Sheila Johnson; and step-daughter, Cheryl Thompson; grandsons, Jeremiah, Ethan, and Seth Johnson; granddaughters, MaKayla Johnson and Ashley Moore; mother, Imogene Johnson; sisters and brothers-in-law, Judy and Lloyd Cook and Tommie and Jim West; also a host of nieces, nephews, and many friends. The family will receive friends, Thursday, December 6, 2007, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg. A funeral service will be held Friday, December 7th, at 11:00 a.m. at Piney Baptist Church with Bro. Pat McGee and Bro. Chuck Willborn officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
