JONES, MR. RONALD W., age 61 of Coalfield, formerly of Sunbright, passed away Saturday, December 1,2007 at Methodist Medical Center, Oak Ridge. He was a veteran of the Vietnam Conflict, having served 3 yrs aboard the aircraft carrier U.S.S. Kitty Hawk as a B.T. He was a steam power operator at the Y-12 plant in Oak Ridge for the past 28 yrs. He was preceded in death by son; Thomas Allen Jones, Parents; Amil and Stella England Jones,Brother; Jackie Jones. Survived by wife of 38 years; Charlona Cappps Jones Son; Ronald W. Jones Jr. and wife Debbie Grandson; Jordan Thomas Jones. Sisters;Betty Roberts, Kathy Murray, Peggy Davis, Lay Olmstead. Brothers; Joe Jones and Byrl Jones. The family will receive friends Tuesday December 4, 2007 5:30 to 8:00 Pm at Shcubert Funeral Home, Sunbright. Funeral 12 Noon Wednesday at Schubert Funeral Home with Bro. Herb Judkins officiating. Interment will follow at Union Grove Cemetery.
