Hello everyone! I want to thank you for the wonderful information that I received from this list regarding Doctor McCartt. Because of your help, I was able to find his marriage record to Adaline Stonecipher, and trace him in the 1930 census to Barberton, Ohio. I have another question that maybe someone could help me with. I ordered the Morgan County Deed Index from the Family History Center, but didn't find Henry O McCart in it. I am working on a DAR application for my husband's daughter, and need to find some proof that connects Robert McCartt to Henry O. I have seen dozens of genealogies that say Henry O McCart died in Morgan County, Tennessee about 1829, but I must be looking in the wrong places, because I can't find an original source for his death. Thanks again for all your help! Marcia McCartt Monroe, Ohio ************************************** See what's new at http://www.aol.com
Check Anderson County and Roane County in Tennessee. Morgan County was made up from these two counties. Good Luck, E.L.
