Clinton Courier Nov. 22, 1961 Services Held Monday For Thomas Carson Funeral services for Thomas J. Carson, 72, Oliver Springs Rt. 1, Back Valley Community, were held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Middle Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Homer Hooks officiating. Burial was in the Estes Cemetery. Mr. Carson died suddenly at 4;15 p.m. Saturday at his home. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Ona Carson, three daughters, Mrs. Earl Coker, Oliver Springs Rt.1, Mrs. J. Carl Cox, Oliver Springs Rt.3, Mrs. Raymond Hall, Oliver Springs, one son, Joseph Carson of Oliver Springs Rt.1., three sisters, Mrs. Jennie Jackson, Coalfield, Mrs. Cleo Gray, Oliver Springs Rt.1, Mrs. Myrtle Seibers, Dayton, Ohio, one brother, Ed Carson, Oliver Springs Rt.1, and 13 grandchildre
