HALL, CLOYD RAY - Lt. Col. USA (Ret) Age 71, of 344 Cloud st., Front Royal, Va., on Monday in Lost River, W.Va. Surviving are his wife, Kathryn Wayland Hall; son, James Ray Hall of West Virginia; two daughters, Sharon Ritter and Connie Longerbeam of Front Royal; two sisters, Lela Jones of Atlanta, Ga. and Reba Leonard of Corona, Calif. and four grandchildren. He was born February 2, 1913 in Deer Lodge, Tenn., son of the late William L. and Matilda Hall. He was a retired U.S. Army Lt. Colonel, and was Inspector General in the Army during World War II; a school psychologist for Arlington Public Schools for 24 years. He was a member Moorefield, W.Va. American Legion Post and the VFW Post 1860 in Front Royal and the Disabled Veteran's Organization, Front Royal. Funeral conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday at MADDOX FUNERAL HOME, Front Royal. Rev. Willis L. Betts officiating. Burial with full military honors will be in Panorama Memorial Gardens, Waterlick, Va.
